Dubai
Dubai is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates. It is also the name of the emirate’s main city, sometimes called “Dubai City.” Located on the Persian Gulf, Dubai is distinct from the other emirates in that oil revenues account for only a small part of its gross domestic product, and it is the only emirate that has Hindu temples. Ice Hotels
Ice hotels are temporary buildings made entirely out of snow and sculptured ice. They are built each year in the coldest regions of the world as a way to attract vacationers to resort areas. In the Swedish ice hotel at Kiruna, one of the most famous ice hotels, even the bar glasses are made of ice. A one-night stay at the hotel costs close to four hundred dollars. Guests should probably mind the check-out time, however, because the hotel begins to melt away after May. Discuss
