A Sandwich for Sandwich

It has been said of John Montagu, 4th earl of Sandwich, that “seldom has any man held so many offices and accomplished so little.” An unpopular, corrupt politician, he was criticized for prosecuting a friend for obscenity, despite being notoriously dissolute himself.
